When we reply
We read email Monday to Friday and answer most messages within two business days. We do not operate a phone line, so email is the fastest way to reach us.
Before you write
What we cannot help with
We are not an insurance company, a home warranty company or a contractor. We cannot look up your policy or service contract, change your coverage, take a payment, quote a rate or estimate, tell you whether something is covered, schedule or check on a repair, or help with a claim.
For any of those, contact the company you bought from directly — the insurer or agent on your declarations page, the warranty administrator on your contract, or the contractor on your estimate.
For a complaint about an insurer, your state department of insurance is the right place (find yours in the NAIC directory). For a home warranty company or a contractor, your state attorney general's consumer protection office and, for contractors, your state licensing board are the usual routes.
Please do not send sensitive information
Email is not a secure channel. Never send us a Social Security number, a policy, contract or claim number, a driver's license number, or bank or payment card details. We do not need any of them, and if you send them we will delete them once we have answered you.
What we do with your message
We use it to answer you, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not pass your details to any partner, and we do not sell or share contact information. Message correspondence is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. See our Privacy Policy.
Reporting a problem
If something on this site is wrong, out of date, broken, or unusable with assistive technology, please tell us which page and what happened. We aim to acknowledge corrections and accessibility reports within two business days.
